Hello friends, Rich Mattson here, having a helluva time keeping this website updated these days as my only access to it is from an old iMac using "Dreamweaver 4" with OS9!

I'm a busy fella in 2010, playing in 3 musical groups and running my beloved Sparta Sound recording studio on Minnesota's Iron Range.

While the rest of this site is up and running mostly for the sake of its archives, for upcoming dates please check the Myspace sites linked below (I can update those from my celphone!)...hope to see you soon!

My latest rock and roll incarnation is THE TISDALES.

Baby Grant Johnson and I keep the folk tradition alive with THE BITTER SPILLS.

Up in northern MN I've been known to play around in a 3-piece cover band with my brother Glen and cousin Mark Saari called THE PRODIGAL SONS.

We had our last show in July of 2008, but OL' YELLER still know their tunes..
